Microsoft Translator 1.2 Adds Natural Conversations Including Android Wear Support For One Of The Two Participants

When Microsoft Translator was released a few months ago, I went through an extensive comparison between it and Google Translate and came out impressed by Microsoft’s efforts, but not completely swayed. At the time, Translator had a major advantage in its Android Wear support (a gap that Google has since close ) but lacked many other features like offline functionality, camera view, and most importantly the live conversation mode. Well, Translator has now jumped that last hurdle and added natural conversation support in its app.

Xiaomi Mi5 leaked photos reveal a 5-inch display

The leaked image shows a cutout at the bottom of the screen where Xiaomi may place the physical home button which may incorporate a fingerprint sensor.

Recently, rumors about Xiaomi planning to unveil the Xiaomi Mi 5 in the next couple of weeks have surfaced and today pictures of the front panel of the highly anticipated device have been leaked online.

xiaomi mi5 front panel leak 02Based on the photos, the Mi 5 will feature rounded corners, what looks like a 5-inch display, and a physical home key which we expect to also act as the device’s fingerprint sensor because otherwise there would be no need for a physical home key and it would most probably keep the capacitive touch keys similar to ones found on its predecessor, the Mi 4.

Google Now On Tap Updated To Allow For Easy Screenshots On Android 6.0

Taking screenshots has officially become a little easier for those of us who have a device running Android 6.0. An update has begun to roll out to the Google App that adds a share button to Google Now on tap, which takes a screenshot and allows you to immediately share it. This is great news for some who have been having issue  taking screenshots on their 6P while using certain cases, and for those who have trouble pressing multiple buttons at once. The Windows Phone device is called ‘HP Falcon’, and the listing shows that it has a 5.8-inch display, 20MP/12MP cameras, 1GB RAM, and 43GB of storage

A new Windows phone, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, has been spotted on GFXBench. The phone is called ‘HP Falcon’, and since there has been little to no news about HP making a Windows-powered smartphone, it is possible that the phone could be an upcoming Lumia smartphone from Microsoft.

The listing shows that the phone has a 5.8-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. It also shows that the device may come with a 20MP rear camera, with a 12MP front camera. Microsoft Cortana now available for iOS and Android

The digital assistant is only available for iOS and Android users in the US and China right now, and it will be deeply integrated with Cyanogen

Microsoft’s digital assistant, Cortana, is now available for iOS and Android users in the US and China. Users will need to have at least iOS 8 or Android v4.1.2 installed on their phones to use the assistant. Cortana’s UI is pretty much the same as that on Windows devices, with a search box at the bottom, hamburger menu on the top left, and information cards. The cards show the user their appointments, tracks packages, weather information, latest scores, etc. The assistant requires users to sign in with their Microsoft Account to sync their interests and settings.

Motorola to launch Moto X Force in India in January

Amit Boni, General Manager of Motorola Mobility, also revealed that the Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto X Play will receive the Android Marshmallow v6.0 update some time between December and January.

 

Motorola will launch the Moto X Force in India in January 2016, according to General Manager of Motorola India, Amit Boni. The phone’s standout feature is its ShatterShield Display technology, which is said to absorb shocks and prevent the screen from shattering. He also revealed that the Moto G (3rd Gen) and the Moto X Play will receive the Android Marshmallow v6.0 update some time between December and January.
